Here is our raw, unvarnished story of why we started and what drove us to change the Indian rental industry forever.

Chapter 1 · College Days

The Frustrated Student Tenant

Living the pain from the other side of the counter across Cuttack and Odisha.

During our engineering college days in Cuttack, we lived in typical 3 sharing and 4 sharing student PGs. We experienced firsthand just how broken and disorganized the rental experience was.

Every month, we handed cash over to wardens without getting verifiable receipts. When our ceiling fan broke or the bathroom pipe leaked, complaints got buried in noisy WhatsApp groups and took two weeks to fix. Security deposits were deducted arbitrarily when we vacated because there were no clear digital check in records. We promised ourselves that someday, hostel living would be transparent and dignified.

Chapter 2 · The Operator Era

Leasing Our First 280 Bed PG

Discovering the 14 hour daily nightmare of property management.

After completing college, instead of sitting in comfortable IT office cubicles, we leased our first building and launched our very own 280 bed student and working professional PG property in Odisha. We thought property management was just about serving good food and keeping rooms clean.

We were hit with a harsh reality. We spent our evenings from 8 PM to midnight cross checking dog eared paper registers against hundreds of messy bank SMS notifications. We had wardens making arithmetic errors in electricity bills, double booking single rooms when tenants left abruptly, and spending hours arguing over late fee penalties. We realized property owners work 14 hours a day under immense, lonely stress.

Chapter 3 · Birth of Super App (PG Master)
